(October 29, 2005) From South Lake Tahoe, California we started out east on US Route 50 headed for Carson City, Nevada. Around the time we started on the downhill portion of Spooner Pass, Nevada on US Route 50 east, we had a nice chance to see the sunrise through some of the showery clouds that morning.
