In February 1992, I took another base tour that headed to Germany for 7 days. We left on a Saturday from Catania via plane headed for Verona, Italy. From there we took a bus through the Alps into Austria, and then to Germany. We stayed in an American military hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Garmisch is a nice area in the Bavarian region of Germany. It is located on the northern part of the Alps. On Sunday it started snowing, and didn't stop until Tuesday. Here I am in Garmisch on Monday during the snowfall. Just awesome!
