The view to the west of our parking area where we hiked up from. A couple of the lakes pictured earlier are slightly visible below the road (eastern side of the road). We had a great hike. The next day we went to Reno, Nevada, then began the trip back to Port Hueneme, California. Less than a month and a half after this trip, we all were flying south to begin our journey to Antarctica - the adventure of a lifetime!
