We left Crater Lake and headed north to Mount St. Helens, Washington. This is a place I have always wanted to go to, and I finally got the chance to see it. We got there a couple hours before sunset. We came at it from the west just as the moon was beginning to rise from the east. We could also see Mt. Adams (on the left) from the area. Mt. Adams is another of the Cascade volcanoes, but it is pretty much inactive.
