On about the last day at the New Mexico site we went to a field trip with the Los Alamos National Laboratory. We were in the region close to Los Alamos and Bandelier National Monument. We were looking at the volcanic deposits from the Valles Grande Caldera. We stopped for lunch at the caldera, and a buddy from Pitt took this shot of me next to the sign.
