Fairbanks, our new home for the next three years while I attend Graduate School at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. While going to class I actually work at the Geophysical Institute. Kate and I officially arrived in Fairbanks on July 27, 2002. Fairbanks is a nice town that is relatively flat, except the hills around the town. Before even coming to graduate school, I came up for a 2 day visit in march 2002. There is a nice monument near the visitor's center downtown that is dedicated to the Native Americans that I saw during the visit.
