(August 7, 2003) This day was much better than the previous two, though some intermittent rain came through every once and a while throughout the day. Before getting started on the mapping of the volcaniclastic fan deposit with Jon, I set out to the southern end of the fan deposit to check some things out. While on the side of the fan I came across some Puffins just hanging out in the rocks...
