After being in Fairbanks for two years, I finally found out about a summer 18 and over mens baseball league. I've been wanting to play ball again, so I went to the tryout. I got picked up on one of the teams called the Dodgers (unfortunately). There were 7 teams in the league. During one of our early games of the season, Kate took some photos of me in action. This photo shows me stepping to the plate against the Sand Gnats. We were playing on the same field that the Fairbanks Goldpanners play on. It is a strange field to play on since the infield is mainly an astroturf carpeting type material, while the outfield is grass.
