The last shot of the lava flows near us and on the Pali. We then hiked back about 2 hours to the car. On the way back, a 15 minute downpour rolled in. This made hiking over the remaining lava flows more difficult because the smooth pahoehoe surface very slick. We made it back without any major problems.
