The next day, November 20, 2004, I was on my way back to Alaska. Leaving Santiago, Chile was adventurous since President Bush was there at the same time. Security was pretty heavy. After taking off from Santiago, there were some cool lightning from the nearby thunderstorms. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of them, but it was cool. As we finally reached American airspace over Texas, I got some nice shots of the sunrise to the east.
