(July 13, 2004) I started out on this day by flying to Dutch Harbor, Alaska via Anchorage for my second field campaign to Mt. Cleveland for gathering information for my thesis. Along the way I got some great photos of Mt. Denali, which can be seen on the Denali photos page. Once in Dutch Harbor, after the weather had improved, I met up with the rest of the field party that was arriving throughout the day from Kansas State University.
