(July 7, 2006) Kate and I went home to Pittsburgh for the All-Star Weekend festivities from July 7-12, 2006. Though we didn't get tickets to the big game, we did have plans to attend many other activities during the weekend. The first thing I did, was head to the Heinz History Center and Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum to check out the baseball related stuff there. One of the things going on the first day was an actor playing Roberto Clemente (the blurry guy in this photo). I managed to be there while he was giving a special performance for members of the All-American Women's Baseball League (everyone else in the photo - these are the real women of "A League of Their Own"). He did a good job.
