(June 16, 2006) The next day, Kate and I headed down to the city early to take in the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Arts Festival. After checking out some of the cool art, we headed to Point State Park at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers to form the Ohio River. The fountain is always a treat (looking to the west). It usually rains during the arts festival, which it did some of prior to us arriving in Pittsburgh. For the end of the festival, as you can see, it was gorgeous.
