Vicksburg National Military Park, Mississippi Trip Photos Photos from our April 4-7, 2008 trip to Vicksburg, Mississippi to see the battlefield from the May 18, 1863 to July 4, 1863 siege. Poverty Point National/State Historic Site, Louisiana Trip Photos While visiting Vicksburg, Mississippi April 4-7, 2008, we took a short trip on April 5, 2008 to visit these ancient ruins of the Native Americans that once settled in Louisiana. Tennessee Battlefields Trip Photos During the Easter weekend from March 21-24, 2008, we visited Parker's Crossroads Battlefield (took place on December 31, 1862). I also went to see Franklin, Tennessee and Nashville Tennessee where there were battles on November 30, 1864 and December 15-16, 1864 respectively. Pea Ridge National Military Park, Arkansas Photos Photos from the National Military Park of Pea Ridge in northwest Arkansas. Kate, Aurora, and I visited the battlefield on March 1, 2008. The Civil War battle took place on March 7-8, 1862. 2007 Pittsburgh Trips Photos Miscellaneous photos from various trips to The Burgh in 2007. Shiloh Battlefield, Tennessee Photos Photos from the National Battlefield of Shiloh in Tennessee. Kate and I visited the battlefield in March 2007. Also included with the Shiloh photos are the photos taken the same weekend at Corinth, Mississippi; Brice's Crossroads Battlefield, Mississippi; Tupelo, Mississippi; and the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi. Washington, DC Trip Photos One week trip to the nation's Capitol in October 2006. Colorado Springs, Colorado Trip Photos Trip taken for work to Colorado Springs, Colorado from July 17-20, 2006. Main feature of the trip was Garden of the Gods State Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 2006 All-Star Game Weekend Photos Photos from the All-Star Game Weekend held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from July 7-12, 2006. Photos include the All-Star FanFest, All-Star Sunday games, stadium photos during the Homerun Derby, and the All-Star Parade held the day of the big game.
